Sorry, I can't test this as we're all still running 6.0.2CF1 at the moment, and I can't upgrade my server as it has to be running at the same version as production.
The only other thing I can suggest is to have a look at the server log and see if you get any http related errors before it crashes. Also, may be worth checking the view design just in case, although it's unlikely to be wrong as you said it worked in R5 and earlier R6 versions.
Other than that, I guess you could have a look in the knowledge base or the fix list and see if Lotus have addressed it yet, and if not, submit it to them as a bug.
